Samara Scott

On the railings of the Jardin public

From 16 November 2020 to 1 January 2021, the railings of the Jardin public host a series of scanner images featuring a wide range of manufactured everyday objects, as well as organic or chemical by-products of mass production, composed by the British artist Samara Scott (b. 1985 in London).

• Cours de Verdun, only a short walk (300 m or 4 min) from Capc Musée d'art contemporain de Bordeaux.

This presentation is a part of the first major project of the artist in France, The Doldrums, a site-specific work for the great nave of the museum, display until the 23rd may 2021.

Curator: Alice Motard

With the support of Fluxus Art Projects, a Franco-British programme for contemporary art supported by the French Ministry of Culture, the Institut français and the British Council.
